Alarm Customisation
Purpose
The Alarm Customisation main frame allows the following:
Display existing Alarm Customisations.
Modification/Deletion of existing Alarm Customisations.
Creation of new Alarm Customisations.
Transfer the Port Alarm Customisation to a foreign object (applicable to Port Scope only).
*
Please note:
The alarm customisation for the FOX51x alarms must be done from the NE Hardware View. Such existing customisation will then be displayed in this dialog. The HW View can be launched by clicking on an existing alarm customisation with “Unit” as its Scope.

Mandatory entries
*
Please note:
Conflicts between entries made under different scopes are resolved according to the following list of priorities:
Port: 1 (highest),
NE: 2,
NE Type: 3,
Domains: 4,
Network: 5 (lowest).
Alarm Customisations created/modified via the FOX51x NE Hardware Views (Scope: Unit) overrule any Alarm Customisations made for FOX51x unit/subunit. This is discussed separately in Alarm Customisation – Unit/Subunit section.
FOX61x Alarm Customisations made via FOXMAN‑UN overrule local alarm customisations via the FOXCST (only when Alarm Severity has been changed).
