Create Service
Purpose
The Create Service Wizard allows the user to create Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS or H-VPLS), or a Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS).
The Create Service wizard includes six steps:
1 Define Service (basic properties and Quality of Service / Rate Limiting);
2 Define VPLS NEs; modify port types if required;
3 Define VPLS Topology;
4 Define Tunnels;
5 Create Tunnel(s) Manually;
6 Summary (Save).
The final step of service creation is not part of the wizard:
7 After these steps the service(s) need to be deployed via the “Deploy VPLS” menu command.
