Service supervision for MPLS-TP services covers end-to-end supervision of all elements of a service. A service can be a Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS) or a Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS).

In the ENP and its related applications in the WebUI, especially the MPLS-TP Map, service supervision can be enabled on any service instance. When enabled, the service and it components are added to the “System Services” tab of the Service Supervision dialog.
