Table Column Resizing
In the “Global Preferences - Tables” dialog that is called from the NEM Desktop menu “Options - Preferences…” you can enable or disable automatic table column resizing. This setting is applied to all tables in the NEM GUI.
If you choose to disable automatic column resizing, however, you have still the option to execute the following commands from the context menu of any table header:
• “Auto Resize This Column”:
Performs automatic resizing of the column width for the selected column so that all contents within the column are visible.
Performs automatic resizing of the column width for the selected column so that all contents within the column are visible.
• “Auto Resize All Columns”:
Performs automatic resizing of all columns of the current table so that all contents within the table columns are visible.
Performs automatic resizing of all columns of the current table so that all contents within the table columns are visible.
Any further column width modifications need to be manually done unless you go back to the “Global Preferences - Tables” dialog and enable automatic table column resizing.
In addition to the above, each table provides an individual “Options…” dialog from the ||| menu in the upper right corner of the table, provided the table column settings do not prevent such individual settings. The “Table Options” dialog allows you to choose among one of the following three options:
• Use global preference (currently disabled/enabled),
• Auto resize,
• Do not resize.
