Table Filter / Search
In general tables provide a filter (search) feature that can be activated from the keyboard with CTRL-F (STRG-F) where not active per default. Where it is not active per default, you can deactivate the filter either by clicking on the close icon

or by pressing CTRL-F (STRG-F) on the keyboard. When active, the filter field is placed above the table.
A click on the search icon at the left hand side provides context dependent and general filter options that can be set as follows:
• The context dependent filter options are the table columns that can be included or excluded individually.
• The general filter options are:
− Case sensitive or case insensitive;
− Enable or disable the use of wildcards;
− Enable or disable the use of regular expressions;
− Select among “Match from start”, “Match exactly” or “Match anywhere”;
− Enable or disable to “keep parent row if any of the children match”;
− Enable or disable to “keep the children if any of their ancestors match”.
Any text or regular expression is allowed to be entered in the filter field, including wildcards (*). The entered expression can be deleted with the “Delete” key, the “back” key, or with a click on the “remove” symbol visible at the end of the filter field once any expression has been entered.
