Automatic Routing
Please note:
Automatic routing stops at the first route found and is therefore much faster in large networks than manual routing.
The Automatic Routing process enables the operator with End-to-End routing based on a set of criteria. The operator can select:
• the cheapest route:
The calculation is based on aggregation of individual costs per section/hop previously applied in BP;
or
• the shortest route;
and
• avoid specific nodes or link types:
− one or more nodes can be excluded as part of any route;
− one or more link bandwidth/types can be excluded as part of any route.
