Introduction
Up to release R11A, the text resources were part of the client installation package, which limited the flexibility of the deployment. There was no possibility to add a new language translation on an existing installation.
To improve this, the deployment of the resource bundles use a new concept from release R11A SP1 onwards.
For this purpose a new component has been introduced:
• Language Pack, which contains all text resources for a specific language for and FOXCST.
The component can be delivered individually or as part of a release, service pack, or patch collection. This enables the delivery of a new language whenever it is available, independent of an installed .
The deployment of the component makes use of the Voyager REST service “nemcore”:
• clients load the language pack from the core;
• installation needs to be done once on the core;
• no need for installation on the client.
